Mental wellness conversations require both humanity and discipline. People deserve to be heard without shame, but they also deserve accurate information, appropriate boundaries and responsible referral when needs exceed the scope of a coach, clergy member, educator or peer.
Healthy cultures create room for honesty while still expecting responsibility. Hope becomes more credible when it is connected to action: ask for help, tell the truth, take the next responsible step and keep moving.
